The Minnesota
Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has implemented a new open burning permit
online service. There is a one-time fee of five dollars for each calendar
year. Once the online application is completed and the fee is paid, one
can print and save an electronic copy.
The online permit service allows 911 dispatch centers to have the latest
information on active permits to help protect the community from wildfires and
false runs.
To apply for a permit, visit http://webapps1.dnr.state.mn.us/burning_permits/
Burning permits are required in Normanna Township.
